an easy , inexpensive anyone-appropriate gift for end of year EVERYTHINGS!

June – for many of us – means end of the school year. And for many of us that also means coming up with thank you gifts for our wonderful teachers, coaches and tutors.

It’s a bit of a challenge now because we’re still at-home here in New York. And though I can drop off some gifts locally I’m even more reluctant than ever to deliver food. So I came up with a sweet and easy gift that I think anyone would love!

Gift of Eucalyptus l

Simply grab a few bunches of fresh eucalyptus (about $4 for a really lovely big bunch at Trader Joe’s!) and wrap it with some twine or ribbon. You can include instructions on how to take a eucalyptus shower, or how to preserve the branches for a permanent arrangement.

Wanna go extra? Make a bottle of yummy-smelling eucalyptus room spray to accompany! This is one of my favorites – it’s clean and fresh and suitable for anyone as it’s not overly floral or spicy.

Gift of Eucalyptus l

The cost per bottle is about $3 so you can have a unique, easy, lovely gift for under ten bucks! Click here if you’d like the label template I used, with these Avery labels.

Here’s the recipe for the room spray!

Eucalyptus Room Spray

2-ounce glass spray bottle
5 drops Eucalyptus essential oil
10 drops Lemon essential oil
6 drops Lavender essential oil
1 1/2 teaspoons witch hazel
distilled water

Place the oils into the bottle and swirl. Add the witch hazel and swirl again. Fill the rest of the bottle with distilled water , insert the spray top and shake before each use.
