New feature (are you excited? I’m excited!)!!!

This is a little different from “Favor-ette” – where I share a baking tip, a must-have “something”, or a super-quick recipe.  This is more a collection of “things” – things I want (crushing), and things I’ve recently purchased and must share (crushed). Unlike the “favor-ettes”, they are self-explanatory but still worthy of a nod here on the blog. And they will run the gamut – from clothing to kitchen gadgets, to gardening tools and skin care.

Let’s dig in!

Crushed: This tablespoon cookie scoop. Seriously, I don’t know how I’ve baked for these many years without it. Like a tiny ice cream scoop, this has a release lever that makes perfectly uniform mounds of dough that pop right out onto your cookie sheet. tablespoon cookie scoop Crushing: This skillet. Bon Appetit featured it recently and I think I need this – lighter than cast iron and pre-seasoned, so it’s non-stick. lodge skillet Crushed: This bag. I discovered Brooklyn-based Fleabags through Need Supply and it is my new warm-weather everyday bag. fleabags woodland bell tote Crushing: But I REALLY want this one too. fleabags the original flea Crushed: Remember this summer-to-fall nail color? Well I’ve been living in THIS green all winter – love it.

Crushing: I can’t imagine paying this much for a tee shirt. But this one is so good, don’t you think?

I’ve even started a Pinterest board, so that I can keep track of the things I’m “crushing” on – follow along!

Love your new series — such a fun idea. Couldn’t agree more on the mini ice cream scoop for making cookies. I have the same one & use it constantly.
