I don’t know about you, but I find sweaters to be tricky. I love big bulky styles the most, but they are also the most impractical – not warm enough to substitute for a coat in cold weather, but way too warm to wear indoors without breaking a sweat.
A sweater like this?
It’s like kryptonite for me. I can’t resist. And yet there are basically like, 4 – 5 days in fall and early spring when the temps are just right for it.
So what IS the perfect sweater?
This is (and it’s on sale!).
A not-too-thin, not-too-thick crewneck, with a slim cut and straight bottom. Light enough to be worn as a tee shirt, yet warmer. Perfect on its own, as well as layered (either over a button front shirt or under even the lightest jacket). And easily dressed up or down.
I LOVE this sweater. And, thanks to a generous discount code, was able to snatch it up in black (natch), heather gray and the cool chartreuse you see below.
So how do I wear it?
How do I NOT wear it???
It’s perfect.

Twinzees!! Thanks for the heads up!! Can’t beat a cotton wool blend.
It’s a good blend.
