After posting these beauties recently, I received a few requests about the cupcake liners I use.
And since this happens pretty much every time, I will start including the link so that you can easily find them.
As you can probably guess, I am very fond of these parchment paper liners (weird?). For a few reasons. One, they are completely non-stick. When you peel off the paper, your precious muffins/cupcakes stay intact.
Two, they are tall – perfect for holding toppings or big swirls of buttercream (or both!).

And three, they are pretty (and I’m a sucker for pretty).
I go through these rather quickly so I buy them in bulk. But did you know that they are super easy to make yourself?
You’ll need parchment paper (these sheets lay nice and flat) and a small cup or can, whose bottom is the same diameter as the bottoms of your muffin pans.
Using a ruler, draw 5″ – 6″ squares on your parchment paper and cut them out.
Working with one square at a time, center it over your cup or can, as shown (make sure the penciled side is facing up). Then simply smooth the sides down to create a cup.
Done!
These can also be made of any kind of paper to use for non-baking applications too – like, holding and serving Muddy Buddies for example………….
