rose sugar scrub is the easiest, loveliest gift you’ll ever make!
You guys – this rose sugar scrub made my kitchen smell SO good!
I promised you another rose petal recipe and I couldn’t be happier with how this scrub turned out.
Just 4 simple ingredients (and if you made that rose soap you’re halfway there!), a bowl and a spoon are all you need.
And like my brown sugar and lavender scrubs, this recipe doubles – or even triples – beautifully. Which means you can have a large batch ready to go in no time:
For Mother’s Day.
For teacher thank you gifts.
For bridal shower favors.
PERFECT.
Hooked on scrubs? Check out this fun post from Simply Scrub for recipes using fruits and veggies (definitely making that cucumber-mint scrub)!
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup refined coconut oil (I prefer refined as there is no coconut smell to compete with the rose oil)
10 – 15 drops rose essential oil
rose petals
clean jars, ribbon or twine, tags, little spoons
Combine the sugar and coconut oil in a medium bowl; stir to blend thoroughly (the mixture should feel like damp sand). Add 10 drops of the rose oil and stir again, adding more oil if desired. Add a handful or so of rose petals and stir to evenly distribute.
Transfer the mixture into jars; add a ribbon and small spoon if giving as a gift.
