couple of things

Hey there!

It’s been quite a month for me, both personally and professionally.

Chelsea graduated from college (!!), after which the two of us went to Paris (blog posts to come).

I attended Alt Summit NYC (you can read here about my experience at Alt Salt Lake City).

And I’ve got some fun and exciting blogging opportunities in the works – all of which I will be sharing with you in upcoming weeks.

But for today? I’ve got links!

Did you know about National Splurge Day? Me neither! My splurge would be this:

How about you?

I can’t stop watching Jimmy Fallon’s “SNL” audition tape. I love it.

With farmer’s market season in full swing, it’s a constant challenge to keep the abundance of produce I bring home each week fresh. Many thanks to Jen from Jentertaining for this post on how to properly store strawberries.

Not being much of a crafter, I appreciated this easy, adorable and kid friendly tutorial for DIY hand soaps from Elizabeth.

A Blog About Love is one of my very favorite blogs. And Mara is one of my very favorite people. She recently wrote a post that, although it was about her struggles with fertility, resonated so intensely for me that I had to share it. It’s simply stunning (“…nothing – NOTHING – is the end of the world”).

You know that I’m a slave to recipes. So if the recipe calls for a bay leaf, I add a bay leaf. But I secretly wonder if it makes a difference.  If you do too, you’ll love this article.

Finally – I typically leave the “Mad Men” links to Sandra, but this exhaustive recap of the season finale was too good to let slip by. It was seriously spot on in every way – and if you have a few extra hours, take a look at their “Mad Style” posts too (props to Sara for the share).

I really enjoyed compiling this month’s links – and am continually floored by the crazy amount of talented, funny, creative people out there. People pouring their hearts and souls into their work, and sharing it with all of us. I hope you enjoyed it too!

Hope you have a great day!
