plumfield shop is one-stop for unique, cheeky, well-designed gifts for everyone on your list!

Kari’s one of my faves. We met years ago on a mid-century modern house tour of Palm Springs and I’ve been a fan ever since. She’s smart, stylish, modern and yet old-fashioned too, and just an all-around sweet lady. One of my favorite small businesses is her online store, Plumfield Shop, and I thought it would be fun to do a giveaway with her this week!

Kari has assembled a collection of independently designed and American-made gifts that are so good you might not want to give them away:

And a fabulous array of prints that I completely covet:

When I found these mugs I knew just what I wanted to pair them with.

Aren’t they great? If you’re like me, you have a never ending list of things you know you should be doing more of/less of/better:

Get 8 hours of sleep.

Less screen time.

Exercise more.

Cut out sugar.

And always at the top of my list is to drink more water. You too? Hopefully this cute mug will make it easier, and I’m giving away three today, along with a bottle of Lemon essential oil!

Lemon was one of the first oils I fell in love with when I started using essential oils, and my hands-down favorite way to use it is in my water! In addition to providing flavor, lemon also has detoxing qualities AND curbs sugar cravings. I was super skeptical of this last one (I mean………..doughnuts?), but IT WORKS.

To enter, leave a comment below, telling me the one thing that you KNOW you should be doing more of/less of/better!  Be sure to include your e-mail address if it’s not already linked to your comment.

The contest will run till 11:00 p.m. EST; the winner will be chosen at random and announced on Wednesday, June 17th. Good luck!

I need to remember that taking care of myself is important – not just caring for everyone else

    • sherisilver on June 16, 2020 at 10:11 am

I think the fact that that wasn’t even on my list means that I don’t do that nearly enough either!

  2. Kesha on June 16, 2020 at 10:37 am

I really need to be better about drinking water, sleeping more and taking me time. I worry about everything and everyone around me and never give myself time to rest and relax.

    • sherisilver on June 16, 2020 at 11:22 am

I can totally relate to that, especially these days!!

Exercising, don’t do that nearly enough.

    • sherisilver on June 16, 2020 at 11:22 am

I feel like we ALL feel that way, no matter how much we do!!!

So many things to remember!!! (And, these days, just remembering to remember is sometimes hard enough!!)

OMG – like, WHAT DAY IS IT????

  5. Janet Hurlbrink on June 16, 2020 at 1:54 pm

Definitely should be drinking more water. Especially in the summer.

I’m always trying to up my water intake and cut my sugars. This cup is the perfect reminder!
Thanks for sharing this cute little shop.

I’d love to do a little less “tasting” while I’m cooking…

  8. Leah on June 16, 2020 at 6:54 pm

Not being so determined in my pursuit of perfection …

    • sherisilver on June 17, 2020 at 7:51 am

I can relate to this one – in many ways these last months have helped with that – mainly because so many times I couldn’t “do” what I would normally do and had to make my peace with that. I hope I can take some of that with me when things return to normal!

I need to cut back on the sugar and kick up my exercising a notch!
