Yes, I will be “working” at the Flea this Saturday, doing a shift at the NYC Bake Sale, to benefit No Kid Hungry. This is a remarkable organization, which I wrote about last year when I attended the sale.

So if you’re free this Saturday, please come down and join us! The Brooklyn Flea is in full “outdoor mode” for the season, and if last year’s baked goods are any indication, you are in for a treat. Some of the area’s most talented bakers (plus me!) have generously donated their time and talent to contribute to the sale and you will not want to miss it!

If you can’t make it, no worries – you can still contribute. Simply go to the No Kid Hungry donation page, and for a $10 donation you can be entered to win some AH-mazing prizes, including:
