You all KNOW how much I love my Instagram. And while I don’t delude myself into thinking I’m a professional photographer, I do enjoy playing with all of the filters and special effects.
And did you know that you can turn those killer phone photos into some pretty cool stuff?
Stickygram turns your Instagram photos into magnets. For $15 you get a sheet of 9 magnets, chosen from your Instagram feed. Each photo is 2″ x 2″ – about the size they appear on your phone.
Cute, right? Better than that magnet from the appliance repair shop you currently have hanging on your fridge….
I don’t know about you, but many of my favorite photos are the ones taken with my phone. I don’t always have my big camera with me, and there are times when I choose to leave it at home – especially if I’m going to be running around with Noah. Yet those are often the moments when I get that great shot – and I get it on my phone. Printstagram prints out your phone photos on matte, high quality paper, and for $12 you get your choice of 24 4″ x 4″ photos or 48 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ photos. I love this because I’m still one of “those people” who still puts her pictures into actual photo albums.
And finally, Postagram – an app that lets you send a real postcard – in the mail – using one of your Instagram pics (or any photos you have on Facebook, your phone or your computer). Simply upload your photo, add a message and for $1.00 Postagram will mail your postcard! The photo pops out of the card too; a small, but clever and thoughtful detail.
As if Instagram couldn’t get any better, right?
But wait there’s more! There are tons of posts out there on how to best use Instagram; here are two of my favorites:
Ten Tips for Mastering Instagram, and
How to Master the “Tilt-Shift”.
And I can’t not include this video – cracks me up every time (even though I’m guilty of practically all of these….)
Happy Wednesday!
