halloween “in the house”: lollipop spiders!

We’re baaaaaaa-aaaaaaaaack!

I am SUPER excited to be in Halloween mode yet again – it’s one of our most favorite times of the year, and if you’ve been a reader for a while you know we do it up for real here at Casa Silver.

As always, I love to share fun, (not too) spooky, and – most importantly – easy crafts and recipes to make your Halloween extra special. And this year’s no exception!

First up?

Are these not the CUTEST? And ridiculously simple too. The idea comes straight from Debbie over at One Little Project – one of my go-to blogs for craft and recipe inspiration.

All you need are some Tootsie Pops, black pipe cleaners and googly eyes. You’ll need two pipe cleaners and two eyes for each spider.

Cut the pipe cleaners in half and place a pop slightly off-center. Wrap the longer end around first, followed by the shorter end, as shown in the photo. Bend the tips and glue on the eyes (I used a hot glue gun but regular Elmer’s glue will work just fine).

And that’s it! I love this so much because it’s a craft and a treat, and easy enough to churn out plenty for the whole class.
