I’ve got two cool little items to share with you today!
First up – it’s no secret that I love love love my cast iron skillets – and I take super good care of them too. I had been using a non-scratch cleaning pad and it worked well, but got disgusting pretty quickly. So when I came across the “Skillet Skrunchie” I was intrigued.
I’ll admit that I was kind of into the fact that it was described as “chain mail” (because: Game of Thrones). But frankly the rave reviews got me and I ordered one up.
What a clever little invention!
Made of food-safe stainless steel, this little scrubber effectively gets off all remnants of food from your skillet, without scratching AND without the need for detergent – which ensures that all that effort you put into seasoning your pans is not wasted.
Best of all the skrunchie is dishwasher safe – so you’re not constantly tossing and replacing those gross sponges. Try it!
Next up? Cord Cocoon.
I am one of “those people” who despises clutter. For me, the appearance of a neat house can go a long way in making me feel calm and collected about the rest of my life (are you the same? tell me you are….).
So you can imagine what the avalanche of cords, cables and chargers we all have has done to that “calm and collected” feeling. #stress #anxiety #terror
So when Clark reached out and invited me to try out his invention I gladly accepted.
Cord Cocoon is compact and easy to use. Simply fold your cable in half and push it through the opening of the cocoon. Turn the center until the cable is wrapped up inside. I’m using it for my earbuds too, as they are always getting knotted up.
Note that – at this time – the device seems to be most appropriate for iPhone (and thinner) cables. Hopefully plans for cocoons that can accommodate thicker wires are in the works!
Clark is a “local” creator, which always makes me smile, and he supports several charitable organizations through purchases of his products.
Have a great weekend – we’re making a “last gasp” visit to the beach!
Note: I did not receive compensation for these reviews. I purchased the Skillet Skrunchie, and was kindly gifted a selection of Cord Cocoons to review. All comments and opinions are – as always – completely my own.
