living a well tended life... at any age

oh hey!

Happy Friday guys!

I don’t know about you but I’m all like, “WHAT holiday break?” – same?

I took some time over the holidays to give some thought to this little blog of mine – where I was, where I’m at, where I want to be. Will be sharing more soon but I’m thinking of some changes – and am super excited about them!

In the mean time, I know that with the flood of stuff you all see on social media, you may not catch the stuff I’m doing elsewhere – and I’ve got some cool stuff! So let me leave you this week with some of my fave recipes of the past few weeks:

While these edible spoons were for a holiday gift-giving post, they are SO customizable that you will want to make them for every season and occasion!

Think baby showers (or gender reveal parties), Valentine’s Day, birthday parties, even St. Patrick’s Day! Just switch up the sprinkles and the candy melts and put that spoon mold to work! (image courtesy of Babble)

These 3-ingredient copycat Thin Mints were too easy not to share!

I tweaked them by doing a white chocolate version and they were ADDICTIVE. (image courtesy of Babble)

Warning: cuteness overload ahead. I am SMITTEN with these little tin can cakes, and totally hooked on this new-to-me frosting technique. It not only looks so clean and modern, it’s actually EASIER than the traditional method – WINNING!

Oh, and those pinecones? Edible. For real. And so easy you will be churning them out by the dozens, I predict. (image courtesy of

Finally? These dough cones, made from refrigerated crescent roll dough and some sugar cones!

I’ve got a sweet and savory way to fill ’em, and we gobbled all of them up. (image courtesy of Babble)

Have a fabulous weekend!
