chocolate pretzel trees!

chocolate pretzel trees are easy, kid-friendly, last-minute perfect!

SUPER fast post today before I sign off for the year!

These chocolate pretzel trees could LITERALLY not be any easier to pull together. You simply need a bag of green candy melts, small pretzel sticks and confetti-style sprinkles (though you could easily substitute with M&M’s, Skittles, chocolate-covered sunflower seeds or candy dots!).

You can draw the tree shapes on a piece of paper, and then top with your wax or parchment paper, so little hands can have an easier time “tracing”, or go free-form. They’re adorable either way!

Have a festive and happy holiday and all my best for a wonderful new year!

Chocolate Pretzel “Trees”

pretzel sticks (regular or gluten-free)
green candy melts
confetti-style sprinkles (substitute mini M & M’s, candy dots or regular sprinkles)

Set up two baking sheets with parchment or wax paper. Divide the pretzels among the sheets, staggering their placement.

Melt the candy melts in the top half of a double boiler set over barely simmering water. Transfer to a plastic squeeze bottle (alternatively you can use a zip loc bag with a small opening snipped in the corner).

Pipe “trees” atop each pretzel, as shown, and decorate with sprinkles. Place sheets in the fridge or freezer to set; keep chilled till ready to serve.
