local flavor: “phoebe g. green” book launch party!

I am beyond excited to be part of the launch party for my friend Veera’s new chapter book series!

Veera Hiranandani has penned a food-centered chapter book series, “Phoebe G. Green”, and she will be hosting a panel discussion on food for kids and out-of-the-box school lunch ideas.

Joining me on the panel are chef-owner Matthew Karp of Plates and friend/blogger/chef Jackie Ourman.

There will also be a short reading, tastings based on food from the series,  and a book-signing. Bring the whole family and please come say hi!

The event will take place at The Purple Crayon Center For Learning and Social Innovation this Sunday, October 26th, from 3-5 p.m.
