Happy October all! This month, Tuesdays will be turned over to all things Halloween. As you know, we take this holiday very seriously, and I’m always looking for fun treats and ideas to share with you!
First up?
These adorable monster pencils from The 36th Avenue won my heart for so many reasons. First, they are SUPER easy to make – this is a perfect craft for your kids to help with. Second, they’re inexpensive – I got everything you see here at the dollar store. And best of all? They are sugar-free! Between the dietary restrictions of most of our classrooms, and the deluge of candy that starts materializing EVERYWHERE (starting NOW), I love the idea of a non-food “treat” to give out to the class.
Here’s what you’ll need:
Pencils
Pom poms in assorted colors and sizes
Googly eyes
Hot glue gun (or Elmer’s glue)
How cute?
Full instructions and free printable tags are over at The 36th Avenue (scroll to the bottom of the post for the printables).
Where do you stand on candy treats for the class?
