It’s my first “printable” you guys!
Am I the only one who has, like, a bajillion bits of wrapping paper lying around? I always think I’m going to have that “small gift” that will be just right for that random square of paper I refuse to throw out.
Please tell me it’s not just me……
Well here’s a totally free and adorable use for those bits and pieces – make an envelope! So much nicer than a boring white one, and you can use anything you like – newspaper, butcher paper, a pretty greeting card or even a shopping bag. I like to use a page from a catalogue when giving a gift card:
This is a great, kid-friendly project too – they can practice their cutting skills and will love gluing/taping the envelope shut, as well as decorating it. Have them create a personalized envelope to accompany a teacher gift (end of the year is coming soon!).
And it couldn’t be easier!
Simply download this envelope template, and cut along the solid lines. Trace onto your choice of paper; decorate if desired. Fold in the side flaps, and then the bottom flap. Secure with double-sided tape or glue stick. Fill the envelope and fasten with stickers, glue stick or a piece of washi tape.
Use your copier to scale down the template if you need a smaller size……
