blove: artsocial

Confession: I have a tab open to this blog at all times.

No lie (I’ll explain why in a bit).

I love artsocial – and Erin too.

artsocial launched in 2011 (just like me!), as “a place for talking about art in a smart, yet approachable way”.

But – as always with those really special blogs – it’s so much more than that.

I keep artsocial at the ready because it is just a pleasure to read and behold.

I love Erin’s writing (always infused with humor).

I love her photography.

And I love the sheer joy that every inch of her blog exudes.

Erin is truly all about sharing the love and broadcasting a positive message each and every day.

Why WOULDN’T you have something like that permanently open – for instant happiness, any old time?

I typically select a few of my favorite posts from my featured “blove” subject. But with Erin – truthfully – that’s hard to do. You could close your eyes and virtually “point”, and you’d be bound to find something to love. So I did just that. And it was even better than I thought:

Erin’s DIY’s are as beautiful to look at as they are “must-make-this-now”. Impossible to narrow down but here are two of my favorites:

How much do you love these? And totally doable, which makes me love them all the more (get the details for the flower favors and splatter paint gift tags, as well as more fabulous DIY’s, on artsocial).

Erin also loves collaborating – I adore the series “Shoes and Views“, by Kate Donaldson. Kate is a mega-talented photographer – who happens to love shoes – and created this series for artsocial.

But wait – there’s more!

Erin is also blessed with fabulous style – check out this mood board, done in collaboration with Christie from bedsidedesign.

And since humor and wit will always win my heart, I’m finishing off with this post (one of my favorite movie quotes of all time). It makes me smile every time.

So check out Erin – and get a tab ready.

Wanna know what “blove” is?

Love, love, love Erin’s site! And you know what’s funny and cool… Christie from bedsidedesign is my cousin’s wife! Small world, isn’t it?! My worlds have collided in the best way.
