This month has been an especially hectic and busy one – but filled with all good things, so I’m feeling most, most grateful.
I’ve taken some time before and after my recent trip to enjoy these sweet and special breaks in the action, and trying hard to just pause and enjoy.
Noah turned 4, and had a celebration at school:
I hosted only my second Thanksgiving EVER – and among other things, this happened:
And Noah is having his first “friend” birthday party today, with these:
And Chelsea’s been home all week, which has made it all the sweeter and more special – but at the same time, that much harder to sit here, plugging away. Do you ever just want to “stop” – just not deal with anything other than the fun stuff, the people stuff, the “in the moment” stuff? That’s how I’m feeling these days, and trying to quiet the voices that hover and nag at me – incessantly – to keep working.
So come next week I’ll have a bunch of fun posts, and more Camp Mighty recaps for you!
But for now, I hope you all had a lovely, peaceful and delicious holiday weekend – with your sweet and special someones…

Welcome to my little corner of the web where you’ll find easy, delicious recipes, the best kitchen hacks and simple tips for turning your home into a clean haven that is free of toxins. So glad you’re here!

And for a little while I watched Katniss sit in a tree, hiding out to save her life, and for a few moments I thought, “How relaxing to be in that tree.”
True story – I had the same thought while watching Gerard Butler in “Law Abiding Citizen” being sent to solitary confinement!
Do what you need – we’ll all be here to read and take part!
