My weekly outings with Noah are winding down, as he will be in camp 5 days a week this summer (sniffle). So I decided that, weather permitting, I would try to hit as many great parks and playgrounds as possible with our time left. With list in hand we started our “countdown” with #1 – the Pier 6 playground at Brooklyn Bridge Park. And we were lucky enough to have a friend along to spend the day.
This is Piper.

Piper is the daughter of my good friend (and fellow blogger) Meredith. Piper and Noah met a few months ago at the home of another lovely bloggy friend, Jennifer – and he has spoken of her quite often (and fondly) since then. So we were thrilled to have them join us.
It was one of those perfect, magical days.
Bright blue skies and a fabulous playground.
Some not-too-scary slides (yes, I went down both).

A yummy treat from a favorite bakery (can you say “Samoa Bar”?).
And even a cute puppy to pet.
Noah hung close to me at first, but slowly started to seek Piper out.

Making sure she’s watching him.

And then the running.
And more running.

Can you tell who wears the pants in this relationship? (Hint: it’s NOT the one wearing the pants.)

But the best was when the hand-holding began.
In the park.

If you ask him about Piper, Noah will tell you, “she my bess fend”.
Can you blame him?

I’m still dying. We had great fun! Although piper refers to Noah as her boyfriend. I’m in tons of trouble! Love you xoxo

I think it’s Noah who’s in trouble. And I’m perfectly fine with that….xo

How cute. Wonderful that you captured that special time between them. They’ll never remember it when they’re older. What a great day out xx

I wish you could bottle up all of the yummy that those two create. It would make a lot of people happy. I know it made me smile.
