You are the best mom! Noah is such a lucky kid. I took my kids, when they were younger, to an exhibit at a museum here. And like you, was so excited to watch them see it. No such luck. And I’ve completely blocked out what the exhibit was!

Sheri, I’m so sorry this didn’t turn out the way you had hoped! I think you handled the situation beautifully and I’m glad you got to see Keith Haring, despite Noah’s protest. In the end it sounds like a win-win situation: how fun is that children’s museum! (I love his t-shirt, btw!). Oh, and are there any other professions we don’t know about yet? I had no idea you had studied architecture too! I admire your many talents!

Oh what a shame. I’ve had days like that too. I once took my older two children (when they were about Noah’s age) to a movie that showed insects close up. It was set to music with no dialogue. I thought they’d really love it. They hated it and disturbed everyone else in the theatre. After a lot of evil looks from everyone around us, we had to up and leave. At least you tried! xx
